Down to the Wire

Ah, yes...44 days to go to the Target Date (wishing for sooner!)...and still a LONG way to go on support levels. It can be QUITE challenging, I have to admit, but, at the same time, kind of exciting. I'm looking to see if God will perform a miracle and bring it all in "just in time." :)

While the past year and a half has been challenging, living on very minimal support and spending up to 100 hours per week doing ministry & support discovery, it has been an exciting time, watching God at work in many unexpected ways. For example, Him providing (down to the dollar!) the finances needed for each road-trip I took for support-discovery.

And now, 44 days to go to get there on-time! Please pray with me for this miraculous provision from God--that He would provide, and nobody could help but to acknowledge that it was Him that did it!

Ah, Writing!

I have so many writing projects all the time, it almost seems as though that must be what I do full-time! Of course, script writing is a huge part of what I do as a musical theatre missionary, as is letter writing...

Currently, I have a book that I'm supposed to finish the first draft of by November 30th. I brought this one upon myself, though, joining the thousands (if not millions) of other folks working on the NaNoWriMo project (National Novel Writing Month). Mine should be a book filled with research, but, of course, writing 50,000 words in a month as an ASIDE hardly allows me the time to research, but, hey... :) That's what the rest of the months in the year are for!

I am also working on tweaking letters, writing updates and all that--the normal month-to-month writing projects...

But now I am also working on a new script. I have no idea the name of it, the direction in which it is heading (other than the ultimate question/point of it all), and am finding it a thrill, trusting God as He writes it through me...very interesting. :)

Okay...well, that's about all I have to contribute today...my brain is still recovering from a week of illness, so, yeah... :)

The Count Down

Well, the count down clock reads less than two months to the target date for getting to Australia full-time! The goal is before Christmas, to enable me to unpack, settle in, make the contacts needed, etc., to be ready to dive in head-first at the end of January!

So, I'm doing everything I can to be fully committed to getting everything ready for the Big Move! Forging ahead in support discovery more intently--prepping lessons, ideas and documents for the drama clubs and community theatre there in Australia, and, of course, cleaning/packing/purging every room of the house and all of my possessions (a daunting task to say the least!).

Please pray as I seek to do all of these tasks to my best ability--but even more that God would receive ALL the glory from them!
